From what I have researched we have about 600 miles of barriers already, made up of walls/fences/electronic surveillances.  It has been an ongoing issue about securing the border much better than what we have now, it goes back 20 plus years.  I think Illegal Immigration finally became a focal point in this years Presidential Election.

 

Looks like the US Citizen are finally going to get a real wall.

im well aware that virginia does not deal directly with a border, that doesn't mean we don't have plenty of undocumented students. they're not evil bloodsucking, they're kids in need of an education. there are no negatives associated with educating as many as possible. quite the opposite. the money put into a wall would be better spent on improving future generations, not isolating and pushing false security in an ineffective money pit. anyway, like you said..it's a more problem for certain states and federal aid should be dispersed as such.

I am not sure which is crazier, believing Donald Trumps wall is a visible sign the FEMA camps we heard about being prepared to remove and re-educate/eliminate the God fearing, Bible thumping, gun toting 'real Americans, or that the wall represents a fantastic and feasible undertaking of sheer brilliance. Both are pretty wacky.
