I mean,  I was a bit worried about moving to Texas cause I had many preconceived notions about ppl and government here. It's basically the opposite of so many things I grew up with. In the end I respect all ppl's right to their opinion and I'll gladly discuss with ppl so I figured as long as ppl give me the same respect I can make it work. Most ppl I've talked to here are very sensible when discussing things face to face, I find not too many ppl actually disagree on most vital points, yet would choose to put a vote for Trump based on that ONE issue or simply for not liking the oppositions candidate. It's their vote and their right. When I become a citizen I will also have that right. 

The ones that do disagree though....do so loudly and passionately. I'm not gonna lie..guns being everywhere is scary as hell to me. I don't feel safe in many places and stay inside a lot... I hope that will get better....

Finally, I also figured that the state that raised my husband  (then fiancé) can't be all that bad

I would be crazy to leave now.  We were able to get Dumbo out of the Whitehouse and kill his legacy and get Clinton out of politics.  I have loved living here, only reason I would of moved is if Clinton would of gotten elected. 

 

I am here to enjoy the Trump years and watch the Trump effect.  It going to be a great next 4 years. Building walls, cracking down on illegal immigration, Building up our military, appointing federal judges and Supreme court justice who are very conservative.    No way I would miss what we are about to experience.   Make America Great Again

Well my question was about why you want other ppl to leave though. Immigrants built America. Some of mine came here in the early 1900's and we're quite successful. Part of building this country. Just as the immigrants of today are building the American of tomorrow. I just don't believe in fighting progress. It's the only thing that is constant.

 

Side note: Those same things that make you feel all excited make me feel like I'm watching a European 1940's propaganda show! Oh how differently one can view things...

We did not say they should leave. Many celebrities and professional race baiters said they would leave if Trump elected. we are just saying they should be good on their word. Again not our idea it was theirs

States don't get to selectively enforce the US Constitution. If that's the case, then it should be up to the individual states to decide whether the Second Amendment should be enforced within their borders.
