she can still pay her bill regardless of her status, there are millions of people here that are out of status and undocumented and they pay their bills, that has nothing to do with legal status, she pays as usual, her credit or debit cards won't be canceled

she waited too long, she should have filed in October, I am looking at the form and at the top there is a box to check for renewal and it says to send in copy of the work permit. she should fill it out tonight and fedex it tomorrow. and then in a couple of weeks, make an infopass appointment and see if she can get it expedited

hi

you just have to wait until she gets another date, they will reschedule?

if she is worried, she can call and ask if they mailed her a new date, since she hasn't received anything in 3 months

She is filing under category (c)(9). Under Renewal EAD (page 9 of the instructions), it says a fee is not required for 4. (c)(9) or (c)(16) Adjustment applicant. Just make sure to include a copy of her current EAD (front/back) and of the initial NOA indicating receipt of your i-485 form (in addition to the other paperwork required).

in addition, she should call the service line to see what's going on with her application.

She can also make an infopass at your local uscis office.
