Correct. For Adjustment of Status your main sponsor (so your husband) needs to earn $20,025 annually so it looks like he won't be able to meet the requirements with just his income. If no assets proven and showed, you will need a co-sponsor for your greencard.

I did not know all income must come from employment? I receive child support , adoption subsidies etc kids. This is income not from employment and I am under the impression that it counts because it is income. Am I correct?

I'm in the same boat, with my SSDI, I'm at approx. $20100, and have $85k in the bank. Somebody else mentioned a "co-sponsor", im sure I can use a parent or step parent to help with this, but what is needed to show a co-sponsor, and is it needed when the I-129f is sent in, or afterwards?

If you have $85,000 in the bank then you can use those assets to meet the federal poverty guidelines once you're married. To use assets, you need three times the poverty guidelines and some change for a spouse and five times for everyone else.

Hmmm, that is a grey area I am not an expert in! The guidelines state "employment or retirement"

although for tax purposes its still considered income.
