Why CustomerService keep asking me about ds260

Why CustomerService keep asking me about ds260 whenever I call them about my Status of CR1?

Scan Date 14th November

Call them : 2 tyms (same question did you submit ds260)

Sup Review 27th December

This must be the paper they are waiting on. You need to fill it out and send it to them. It's your immigrant registration form.

But I already did it and submit it on 28th October 2016, She said she doesn't have access to see what do i submit thats SOUND funny ?. They are the authorities they should have know all this. Yesterday i give her confirmation number too Aag.......

Are you sure it's submitted? Double check then wait on your supervisor review.

I have Confirmation Page with Date of submission and Confirmation number and my case number on it too.

I did it online while ceac.state.gov also show completed along two N/A's

I've never had them ask me about mine.

Fingers crossed i call them today as well.

same same Supervisor Review

What you can suggest to call them like Daily, Bi Weekly, Weekly

Same here. Everytime i call they ask me about ds 260.

My scan date is oct 6th, sup review nov 18. Still no update

Sad to hear that

I would suggest call daily and try to speak with supervisor. Gud luck

Bc of you boneheads the average wait time to speak to a person when calling the Nvc is 30-60 minutes. Ugh. I've personally spent in the neighborhood of 12 hrs just waiting. Thanks a lot. Now that I got that gripe out the way...

 

they asked me as well, almost every time until the case completed review. I kindve assumed that particular extension at option 1, 4 just didn't have access to that.  

Our Timeline:

 

Met the woman of my dreams: 7/5/2014

Married the woman of my dreams: 1/18/2016

First child with wife born: 6/6/2016 (yay!)

 

K-3 to CR-1 Visa Processing:

 

4/11/2016:   I-130 Sent

4/13/2016:   NOA1

8/26/2016:   NOA2

9/20/2016:   NVC Receipt 

10/4/2016:   NVC Case # Assigned (My birthday woohoo!)

10/4/2016:   Submit DS-261 

10/5/2016:   DS-261 / AOS / IV Bill Recieved
10/6/2016:   Paid AOS & IV Bill

10/7/2016:   Send AOS & IV Package 

12/15/2016:  CC @ NVC 

12/28/2016:  P4 Received 

12/9/2016:   Interview Date Received for 2/9/2017

2/9/2017:     Interview Result: Approved

2/14/2017:   CR-1 Visa Received (Visa in Passport)

2/21/2017:   US POE Entry @ LAX

And for the N/A part, it is a good indicator that your case completed review, and is just waiting to get to the next desk/step of processing.
