Hi guys..firs of all, happy holidays to all ??

I was wondering if anyone ran into a problem of high shipping charges when sending packages to Europe? Is there a way to pay lower shipping charges? What's the best way to send stuff to family?

Thank you in advance for any advice

It is the norm. Cost my wife and I $100 to send gifts from New York to Montreal. The cost to send it was more than the value of the gifts.

There are 2nd and third rate shipping companies that can do it for less but you are at their mercy. Long times of delivery and packages get lost.

Otherwise international shipping rates is something you will have to deal with unfortunately.

It's expensive to send items to other countries. Even mailing to Canada is time consuming and expensive as you need to know what each item is made of and where it was made. Dhl, fedex, and ups are going to be your best choices depending on what is commonly used in the country you're mailing to.

Thank you guys for your info!! I was kinda hoping that I might find a better way but I guess it will be an arm and a leg as it was so far..what hurts the most - and you said it also - shipping costs more then the items sending..

Maybe things will change in the future..one can hope, right ;)

Thank you again ???

I recommend using a price comparison site. UPS wanted $212 for a small box. My mother sent a 35lb box 24.X24x36 for $80 from the UK. I'm now sending a box for $35 to the UK.
