Returned I-751, one question

Hey all, so I got my I-751 returned to me because an "incomplete" part of the petition. Anyway I filled out a new form, and because they returned my application before the 23rd, now I have to pay the new fee, almost 100 dollars more...anyway the question...I know I have to put on top of the application the notice they sent with the reasons etc, but what about the incomplete I-751 form that they returned? do I have to send it back with the new one or not? I'm asking because it has a number stamped on it.

Thank you for the help!

Can you elaborate more? What area in the form did you miss out?

I wrote the date of my marriage in the box for the divorce date...I know I know...so they sent the whole package back with a letter with the checked box : You filed an incomplete I-751, Please complete Part 1#11 of the petition. ..and the box for the "correct fee"

But the original form, has a printed code on the left side of the front page, so I don't know if I should return it or not. I filled out a new form, with the correction (and actually, the new version 12/23/2016, the website said no previous version would be accepted, I sent my petition before the 23rd), so...sort of confused now.

When USCIS returned my I-751 (for sending an outdated version of the form) I just threw the notice they provided, and the old form in the trash. All I sent back was my new form and the rest of my evidence etc..

I got my NOA1 no problem

Hello Jeff,

Did you send the exact packet just replaced the forms?

I got the same situation, all of the evidence in my packet have a stamp at the bottom with date and time and other numbers. Is it okay to resend as it is with the new version of the form?
