How can I check if a have a ban? I´m telling the words of the CBP Officer, they said me, with any kind of visa you can return, you only can´t use anymore the WVP.

Looks you can no longer use the visa waiver, but the K1 will be OK.

You were not volunteering because you had a good heart. You were illegally working in exchange for room and board. You were getting compensated for your work. You should not list it as volunteering. It was illegal work. This is strike one.

Having already worked illegally, you were caught trying to enter the US to work again. This is strike two.

What did you signed? Were you allowed to withdraw your request for entry or did you received an expedited deportation? The former has little affect on your K1. The later will result in a denial. Look through your paperwork.

Its been told here over & over , one should clear cell convos B4 arriving here

one should stay home at least a yr if there's no provable emergency here.

One should be honest with CBP & know to where & whom you are visiting (the host should know too)

Volunteer work is taking a job from someone in CBP mind, & working here one VWP is also illegal

if volunteering for room and board is considered work and you admitted to it it is forgiven for fiances too. I know it is forgiven for spouses but didn't think it was otherwise. can someone confirm either way.

I-877 indicates that you were not under expedited removal order and should not be subject to a 5-year bar. This should be a non-issue for your K-1 visa process.

To say that this will not affect your K1 is not entirely the case. It will indeed affect how the interview is conducted. Plus you will need to be extra careful filling out forms and how you answer the interview questions. You have made things more complicated. Good luck.

I should have been more specific. He will most likely not have an explicit, 5-year bar from being admitted to the U.S. - that's the part that is not going to be an issue.
