Its been 15 days since ive sent my i-134 and original supporting document to my fiancee. She havent recieve it yet. Should i wait a few more days? I have copies of all the document, but was wondering if i can make a new i-134 and send the copied documents instead of the originals? Would the consulate accept?

Do you mean question about the K1 visa rather than AOS? This may cause your question to be answered incorrectly or be moved to a different category. Depending on where you are mailing it to and via what company will determine how long it takes.

When my fiance mailed from Arizona to the UK it took just over 2 weeks to get here by standard mail.

If you sent via standard mail wait a little longer. If not received then I would think about sending a new I-134 and supporting documents. I am not 100% sure if supporting documents are required to be originals though

Original 'wet' signature is wanted for the I-134.

Everything else could be copies really. Since most like paystubs are just printed off anyways.

Did you sent via standard mail?? FedEx/DHL would have been a much better idea...

Sent all originals of everything from Houston to Manila using FedEx, arrived 3 days later and was only $95.00.

I don't get why you say your titel of the topic is about questions on Adjustment of Status but the content is about I-134 for the K-1 visa but oh well, if she has not received the documents yet and you're sure it won't arrive you can just send another envelope with the same documents. Just make sure it are original documents, wet signed. Copies are not accepted by the Consulate. Good luck!

If you do send again via a speedy courier such as FedEx be wary of Drop it, Hide it, Lose it (DHL) Would recommend FedEx or UPS.

A company I used to work for used DHL... had a very bad rep for misplacing things and a bad tracking system.

Each to their own

Give it couple more days but then next time perhaps try other shipping option, just because getting mail in some Asian countries is unrealiable.

I sent original letter from employer with my I-134. Everything else in my packet(pay stubs, W2's.... didn't do bank statement on my end cause did not need it really due to my income) but these were just printed off from my employers pay roll company, so not really "originals". I just sent it all in a large envelope with FedEx that way my partner did not have to run around trying to print things.

I agree with Ben&Zian, The I-134 must be original wet and signed, However as he says, the bank statements and pay stubs are usually printed from a PC anyway so I would agree that these could be copies.

again not sure how your tax return works and whether this is mailed to you or if you print it off yourself. If its something you print then I don't see why this cannot be a copy.

Just so you know, The pay stubs and bank statements I had were print outs as they are only available online and she doesn't receive a hard copy so to speak.

employer letter was original, Letter headed paper is usually a different type of paper, thicker and better quality than normal paper so I would think this also needs to be original

I've spoken to my local post office about tracking in Vietnam. USPS said that while consumers can not look up tracking in Vietnam online, USPS can provide the tracking information.

Go to your local post office and ask for help with tracking.

Always best to use DHL when sending to Asia because USPS just screams American and then it will be more likely to be examined for money or whatever else they can steal from the envelope or package. DHL is common and thus less likely to arouse curious eyes.
