I have lived in Dallas county all my life. This brown layer of pollution that I am talking about can be seen from anywhere in the DFW metroplex when it is present.

No you have me by a few years, I have not seen this haze you speak of. I have seen it over the trinity river crossing over Loop 12 by Interstate 30 on cold days, but other than that never seen it.

Nobody said that automobiles didn't contribute to the pollution.That is why we are encouraged to carpool our cut down on driving when we have these high ozone days in the DFW Metroplex.

There are no coal burning power plants any where close to D/FW metroplex. Closest one is about 2 hours away.

We had some natural gas power plants in the area, but they shut down in the 80's

The TCEQ is behind that #######, they are just a scam to Texans, It is a industry set up to make money off people fear. like telling everyone we need to catch rainwater because we are running out of water.

I was saying the TCEQ itself is a scam. I have been in classes where we had them speak about water conservation, and I can eat them alive with truth. Since the Ozone Alert is spearheaded by TCEQ I consider it scam like most of their propaganda they put out.
