I am US Citizen and I petitioned my mother. Everything was approved and she entered country in November. She got her social security card in the mail however her Permanent Resident Card says 6 months until she gets a card!!

Can she work yet or must she wait a total of 7 months before she can start making any money? The USCIS website states PRC comes in 90 days but after calling USCIS the officer said it's currently running at 160 days!!

Is there nothing she can do?

It was stamped! Fantastic news!! She can go find work right away now!

I did all the paperwork myself no attorneys or anything so there were a few steps I probably missed. Sounds like she's good to go!
