Jesus christ you are defensive. Where did I say that I was making anyone adapt to me? I said I'm fine if you want to carry, I just have no desire to own a gun. It's fine if you "grew up" that way, but I didn't and I won't raise my children that way. That doesn't mean I'm going to force anything on you. Stop forcing it upon me. So far Houston has been a welcoming city and I haven't felt the need to change at all. I guess maybe I'm not interacting with "Real Texans".

You are going to deprive your children the right to enjoy the outdoors, to hunt and scout for hunting places. Some of my best memories are setting in a duck blind waiting for duck to come in with dad and friends. or going out in the late autumn and shooting doves in the evenings.

Heck I just got off Squaw Creek Reservoir, I spent 3 cold days there fishing, It's a nuclear power plant and they use the lake water to cool the facility so you have 80 degree water in the middle of winter.

People are just different. Let it go man. I love the outdoors and don't feel deprived at all without a gun. My wife's family are farmers in England, they spend all of their time outdoors and they don't have a gun either. My wife is a geologist, our children will not be "deprived" of the outdoors at all. It will just focus on different things (Fishing, hiking, fossil collecting/hunting). Not better. Just different.

You don't take chicks out on hunts and fishing trips. that is for men to do manly things to bond. Outdoor activity like fishing and hunting is a man dominated activity.

Hiking/Fossil collecting is not a manly sport, it ok to looks for points if you happen to be hunting that day, but to make a special trip to do that isn't the way we do things here.

What are you going to do if someone ever tries to break into your house? You will be there like a sitting duck with a broken wing, for a person to say that don't want a gun especially one for personal protection is something I don't understand.

Can't tell if you are actually being serious with your first two paragraphs? "Manly sports"...

As for home protection, we are already quite off topic here so I won't go into it. I'll state my view, you'll disagree, I'll disagree with you and the we'll both go our separate ways.

Man, that is how I picture a typical female snowflake, Man haircut, border line ugly face, average body, probably didn't have any friends in high school.

What is she talking about? I don't get the video

Because when you can't have constructive criticism of the things she's saying because you don't understand them, all you have left is to attack her body and face.

I really did not notice her looks and I agree attacking someones looks is something I never condone, however her mental illness and complete hysterical absurdity left a foul stench in my nostrils

Well I'm certainly glad you agree attacking someone's looks is never a wise move. You assume she has a mental illness. Are you armchairing that again? Whether you agree with her or her feelings is up to you of course. You don't, and that's fine. But this is America, is it not? Liberty and free speech. We are all not supposed to be the same, or have the same collective thoughts and ideals. We aren't supposed to be a one-party system, or a dictatorship right? Therefore though you might disagree with her ideas, or how she reacts, try not to be so ill from it. There's a lot worse smelling things in the world to get the stench of.

You confuse Free speech and going into a private establishment, starting a demonstration and disrupting others right to enjoy a dinner they paid for.

You rights stop where mine start. A fact lost on many in this country

You don't have a right to enjoy dinner as enshrined in the Constitution. But going to a private place with their own rules about what can and cannot go on in that establishment can then come into play. If the person demonstrates and disrupts contrary to the rules of that establishment, then they are removed, and the patrons can continue to go about their business. It's kind of like a TOS on this forum. Nothing can of course stop you from behaving badly in your right to free speech, but if you want to continue to speak here, you have to follow the rules. Actions have consequences. So if I come in and yell at you while you're ''enjoying dinner'', I would be removed for bad behavior. This doesn't disrupt my ability to have free speech, as I have still managed to speak, and can continue to speak wherever the rules of the establishment doesn't apply (or where no laws are broken).

Of course. However if you disrupt my dinner with that fringe absurdity, then I feel I have the right to pound you in the face to the beat of
