CUIDAD JUAREZ DCF: A Few Questions

Hello everyone!

I have several questions and if you can help with any of them then please do so!

Situation: IR1, I am USC and my husband is a Mexican Citizen. We have been married for two years and living in Mexico for the past two years. We already have our interview date (02/28/2017). The ONLY written correspondence we have received was an invitation to schedule the interview, which we have done.

1: Since we are doing a DCF do we still have to send the financial documents/civil documents to the NVC or do we just present them at the interview? I don't want to do anything that is unnecessary and I am not sure if we have to mail them in. We never received the packet 4 that everyone discusses.

2: My husband's second last name is missing from the online appointment confirmation. I called a system number on that website and they told me that there shouldn't be a problem. Has anyone had applicant information mistakes on the appointment system? What did you do?

3: The DS260 number on the applicant information on the interview appointment website was entered incorrectly as well. I really do not want to update this as in doing so the appointment will be canceled and we will probably have to reschedule it for a later date. Has anyone ran into this before? Any advice?

Thank you so much if you can answer any of these!

We did the DCF in 2015. I can just answer the first question as I don't have info for the other 2. My info in the system was correct.

I took everything with me to the Ciudad Juarez Consulate.

His passport has his two last names, right? When you ask the consulate (or someone related), tell them his passport has both last names because at the moment of crossing the visa name has to match the passport name. At least that was when I crossed in August last year.

Regards.

Thanks so much for your response! So just to clarify, when you got your letter from CDJ you made an appointment and just took all the paperwork with you to the appointment? Thanks!

Hello!!! I have a question for you since you all live in Mexico while doing the process. Did you have any issues getting mail delivered? Or is it because you are doing spousal visas, your entire process took place in Mexico? I am about to file the K1, and I am not sure if my fiancé or I will be getting mail. As we know, the mail service here is the pits, and this is not something I need going missing in the mail? When sending mail to us, do they always use a currier like DHL,or do they use the useless Correos de Mexio?????
