Liberals are so cute. Trump could cure cancer and the DDS would kick in and the MDL would scream he put oncologist out of work.

So after 8 years of blaming Obama for everything, I do mean everything, you are now upset with liberals for not praising you white collar criminal, BS talking President elect. Awesome.

Airbus emphasises electronic flight controls over manual, and when their systems fail they fail spectacularly. Yes Boeing has had issues too and both are producing safe planes, but I was referring to Airbus removing quite a few more flight system controlls from the hands of the pilot entirely. Not really a huge fan of Airbus' thinking in that regard.

Old buddy of mine retired off the 727 in 1999 or 2000. Back then, I overheard (and dimly remember) snippets of a conversation between him and an Airbus captain:

Buddy: But what if the hydraulics fail? How do you take it over?

Airbus: You'll be fine.

Buddy: But what about [other function]?

Airbus: You'll be fine.

Afterwards, Buddy didn't sound convinced.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Let Airbus get involved and that price will be down fast. Airbuses are more fun to fly anyway. Get him a A380.

Airbus... Is that an American company? How dare you suggest that the "Dictator in chief" buy anything that is not American made.

Thank you, goodnight and may your gods go with you",

Why Companies Like Boeing Keep Outsourcing American Jobs
I get a good laugh when people tell me they are buying an f150 BECAUSE they only buy american made

What Trump basically said was he wants Boeing to prosper and make lots of money but the days of bottomless pocket books and cost overruns on the tax payers dime is over. How could any sane person find fault with that

One question. Why does the future Dictator in Chief's comments need to be constantly interpreted?

It seems he has an army of supplicants hanging on his every tweet who then go out and spread the translated word of Trump.

I am personally looking forward to welcoming the new crowned monarch, Head of the Church of America, to the thrown.. May he reign over us a long time..... Sorry, I meant to say president.......

Thank you, goodnight and may your gods go with you",

Because it is market driven. Americans want cheap affordable products. Products that cannot be manufactured in America because no American or legal permanent resident is willing to work for a bowl of rice a week.

Sounds like Chinese whispers to me. The more people you have interpreting Trump the more the message changes. So people end up hearing what they want.

Guess again.

It's because he rarely speaks in actual sentences. Listen to him. He is the most fragmented public speaker I've heard in awhile. One or two words at most. And half of them are repeated words. "Great....Great guys....Great...Just great...They wil do....They will....do....Great things"

He even admits he doesn't remember what he said. Like with the Carrier deal when he admitted he didn't remember promising thousands of people that he would save their jobs. If the person saying it can't even keep straight what he says, how can other people?

so he is a very basic speaker and you still do not get it

Gotcha

Gotcha

There is a difference between "basic speaker" and one that doesn't form sentences. That's like saying a 2 year old who can only put two words together is just a "basic speaker". He needs to learn how to actually construct sentences.
