Case was transferred to another uscis

My case was transferred to another uscis office. They did not mention why. But since filing, I have moved out of the country with my spouse. I have tried to change my address to my new address living abroad. But I see there is no option for changing it to an abroad address.

Why would they transfer a case. And how do I go about changing my address?

This process has been nothing but STRESS!!!

Usually petitions get transferred when a USCIS office is overloaded with petitions. They transfer the petition to an office that is working faster.

Where was your petition sent in the first place and when did you file ?

I filed June 6, 2016. They sent it to Nebraska but now its transferred to Texas.

I wonder if I can write a letter to the office in regards to why they transferred without notifying me?

Your petition is over 5 months now and Nebraska is freaking slow at the moment. they just do it so you can get approved or denied in a reasonable amount of time.

I don't think you need to do anything except waiting.

Transfer is usually a good news.
