YES !! i did but i called the NVC a yesterday and the Rep told me my scan date was the 21st because i sent in to sets of docs. One was scanned on the 19th and the other on the 21st. Trust me I had that same face !!!! Funny thing is every time i would call before then they would say the 19th.

i know!!! i hope i never have to hear that famous line "6 weeks to review" again. and they are really creepy, when i called the first time the Rep told me i was missing my husbands birth certificate. but when i received the official RFE in the mail, half of it wasn't even in English nor Spanish. i was so confused, that i had to email them for clarification.

But anyways hopefully this week coming up is our lucky week!!! B-)

Woke up this morning to 3 N/As and was able to confirm CC around 11:30pm EST yesterday (October 28)!!!!!!! I didn't want to wait until Monday to confirm, we are over the moon!

I've been bugging NVC a lot, about one email a week and then a couple calls a week during my 5th and 6th week. My persistence was probably quite annoying.

I hit my 6th week on Thursday (October 27) and then called 7:00 EST Friday morning to ask what was up as my six weeks had passed. Was put into supervisor review. Did not have the third N/A when I went to sleep last night but woke up around 11:00pm EST (mind you, I am in Namibian time) and saw the third N/A. So perhaps after 14 or so hours in supervisor review I received CC.

Thank you for all your support, I wish for everyone from mid September to have CC by this coming week. Stay positive, don't give up!!!

Scan date: Sept 15

Little update: I called last night at around 11:30 pm to try to speak to a manager or supervisor or at the very least to just be annoying. The lady I spoke to just gave me an email to submit an expidite request. So, I sent it over. It worth a try! We just found out Im pregnant and of course we're both anxious to get home and start working and get everything together. My fingers are crlssed so tight. Come on NVC!!

Really hoping that things speed up for you, makes me sad that your scan date was before mine :( and CONGRATS!!! That is so amazing, hoping that everything is expedited asap so you can start preparing for the little one. I am not sure how NVC operates, as others were approved even with scan dates after mine and yours. Im curious....

I have 2 scan dates, June 23rd and September 2nd,. Still nothing for me..... No amount of emails to the NVC has moved my case.

Fingers crossed that this is your week. Have you called them to check in yet or just emailed?

I've only emailed the NVC. I email them roughly once a week sometimes more. I generally get the "we are really busy response". I emailed them about mid-week of last week (about 3 business days ago) - asking them how to expedite my case (its a drop-down option on the webpage).

I'm waiting to see how they respond. To me it just seems to be "stuck" and its not clear what they are doing on my case. September 2nd, they told me NOT to send the NVC any documents (I asked about sending them the police certificate(s)) as it would delay my case.

Will calling really help? Even calling them seems to be hit or miss from what I've read on these forums.

Your case has really confused me.

Why are NVC telling you not to send any documents? That's is exactly what the NVC does - gather and check over your documents and then send them to the embassy for the officer to review in preparation for interview.

How far have you got with the NVC? A timeline would be extremely helpful. Have you paid the fees? There are two separate fees to pay - AOS fee of $120 and IV fee of $325. Did you submit the DS-261 and DS-260 online already?

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

Now a US citizen!

It doesn't sound like you have done your case correctly and why won't you call and actually talk to someone? You asked them to send in a police certificate? You should have sent that in with the rest of your paperwork already if you want them to complete it! You need to call and actually talk to a rep and find out what you need to do exactly. Good luck

This is probably country specific, The Japanese police department wont give a certificate until they get a case number from the Us government. Which we provided to the Japanese Police Department and have the police certificate in our possession,. They also said they will not provide another police certificate so ONLY give it to the US embassy in Tokyo. The NVC never formally asked for the document but I simply cannot figure out why they still have my case in NVC - New Hampshire.

The NVC also confirmed this point on September 2nd because I asked them should I send it to speed up the processing of my case. My timeline has been posted before, I'll find it and paste it in this thread. At this point I'm over a year into the process.
