My husband is from Peru too! I am from PR living in Illinos.

Definitely nice to see someone from Peru here! There are very few of us on VisaJourney. Mostly K1's. I see your scan date is August 26th, any CC yet? my grandparents of from Cuba but I was born in the US. :)

11/16/16- Case Complete and sent to consulate- Finally- this was the most exhausting wait :dead:

1/4/17- Interview not before christmas but at least we got one!

Our first scan was July 15..

2 nd scan - Aug 26

Oct 12 - supervisor review

Oct 14 - administrative review

Getting ready to send a letter to our congressman. (Thanks JFH) I got to it as so as you reminded me of it.

Just saw this post. It looks like beneficiaries with your scan date where approved last week. However with a supervisor review it seems like things take a bit longer. Have you called today for an update?

My scan date is september 19th with my packet but I sent the packet before I pad the fees or did the ds-261 so my real scan date to start 6 weeks is september 27. Two more weeks!! I hope I don't get a checklist and I get case complete at 6 weeks. It took 174 days for I-130 approval so I've been waiting forever for this

-July 2015- my cousin from Romania introduced us via facebook(he is from Romania, moved to Austria 5 years ago, my fam is from Romania)

-September 2015-first time meeting in person

-December 2015-went to meet his fam in Austria, got engaged

-February 12 2016-had my civil marriage in Austria, my parents went with me

-April 2016- went to spend my birthday with him in Austria/Romania

-September 2016- went to Romania together for one month

I hope the process speeds up for you. I called NVC today becuse I'm at 6 weeks. I got a lady who was talking to someone at her side about bloody noses, when I explained the 6 weeks and whats the status she said "Ma'am, you have to wait weeks for them to look through the mail. 6 weeks for sept 12 is Wednesday" I assured her it was today. She offered a supervisor review but I declined. I'll just wait this out but I'm definitely calling tomorrow. I saw someone with scan date sept 13 approved last week.

:( I don't understand the inconsistencies. "every case is different" I'm tired of hearing that because everything should be reviewed in the order that it is received, not by whatever pile is closer to you. Fingers crossed for all of us, so stressed out because I wanted to be home for the holidays and that seems out of reach now. Trying to stay positive but it is very difficult!

No case complete or checklist yet. I just got off the phone with an agent confirming my documents and application for Sept. 15 and that "we ask for 6 weeks"

She was super friendly and said that both of my packages will be reviewed within the next few days. Hoping for a CC by the end of the week :huh2:

My second scan date was 12th September (I'd sent the wrong part of my brith certificate). I called yesterday and I was told I should receive by the end of play. I didn't. Called back this morning and I've been put on supervisor review. My wife is getting in touch with her congressman to see what he can do.

Good luck! I was on supervisor review for only 2 days and then it was case complete.

London are scheduling interviews at the end of this week, apparently.

Called back this morning and I've been put on supervisor review. My wife is getting in touch with her congressman to see what he can do.

My scan date is also Spet 12 I called yesterday and got an answer that was so unhelpful after waiting a half hour. ( see above). Everyone seems to be getting better answers over the phone. Im scared to put it on supervisor review but if its possible it inly takes two days I can deal with that! Im getting anxious seeing that a lot of people with scn dates after ours were already approved.
