Shes miserable without you, or miserable because of her mental illness/ life? what stops you from going to her, even if its just to see her and have a face to face conversation. You know her, not us... if you feel in the time shes been gone that you are now more knowledgeable of her condition and that you can help her through it and be supportive. then who are we to say you shouldn't?

Not at all you just need a partner that is equipped to deal with the mood swings, not all people can

Agree'd.

While I'm not bipolar, I had a pretty hard run for a while because of my OCD, I told my husband about the things that happened in that rut and when I was dating him, I had told my dad that my husband knew about all that stuff. My dad straight up said to me "And he still wants to be with you?". At the time I was like, wow seriously you have your own problems you're one to talk, but after a while I got where he was coming from.

I have my own quirks, I'd say my life is 90% normal with them (90% could be generous, I've been this way all my life lol). My daughter has autism and a mood disorder. My husband still married me knowing that I might have to mentally prepare myself to do a seemingly simple task, and that... well again my child is autistic. None of it was hidden. I figure either he's a saint or a masochist lol.

Either way, if you're honest about your issues, you will be able to find a partner that can help you work through them. Not everyone is able to have that kind of relationship though, and just because they don't stay with you because it's too much for them to handle doesn't mean they don't love you any less, it just means that they're not equipped for that kind of relationship.

Now in the OP's case, I think he's just love blind. He says he doesn't even know if she wants to come to the US but is already trying to get her here. He says she hates it there, but doesn't talk about coming back. She may just hate it anywhere, you never know.

We did file for change of status she had received her work permit and we were waiting on the rest of it.

Was it a EAD/AP combo card or strictly just EAD ? How long has she been gone ?

It is a very tough life I went there twice for extended periods and debated moving there but jobs are hard to find and I knew I could care for here successfully here which I did perfectly but this mental illness took over and beat our perfect relationship into the ground.

if you still want her and be with her, that's your choice. it's your life to live, not ours. just remember tho, that , "life is not a matter of fate, but a matter of choice."

i've been in this world for 68 years, so i know how choices / decisions can make a difference in the kind of life you will live.

good luck!
