@vantine2603,how did they approve ur case so quickly?may be it was a mistake,as u know Nebraska service center takes a long time to approve cases. My PD is 10/11,but my status says "CASE RECEIVED" can u explain please?may be it says case received and not approved .

Nebraska actually expedites the cases of people who are from Philippines.

Hi guys,

I had my interview in Montreal 45 days ago, and since then I entered AP status (officer said that he needs extra time to review my case without asking for any extra docs, he didn't ask to get my passport) and remained like that until yesterday when I noticed that it changed to "Ready" for interview appointment. I think there is a glitch in the system because I am not supposed to have another interview. Does anyone have an explanation? Should I expect them to ask for my passport soon?

Thank you.

Hey guys so my husband receive an email informing us that they approve our case. and upon checking at "my case status" it was approved.

Upon checking at other timelines they receive their NOA2 at 32 days. So start hoping you get yours too anytime soon.

Greetings,

I have just received a text about an update on my wife's case and upon checking the case status page it says that case was approved.

I sent the package on 10/17 to chicago lockbox from New Jersey.

The case was received by uscis on 10/19 and was routed to Texas Service Center.

Case approved today 12/02.

It's probably the AP. I think you'll move on from there. By the way when did you do the biometrics? And how long after that were you approved? Edited by LL & Me

Anyone filing for their parents here from the Philippines? We're Oct 2016 filer too, NOA 10/18. It was stated on the approval letter that they'll contact beneficiary within 30 days and after 30 days, to email and follow up. Anyways, I can't wait and anxious to find out what are the next step and how much more fees to go so we can plan ahead.

Thanks!
