3 rejections, 4th interview in 2 days, please help

From my experience, the more information you tell them about your intentions/plans in the US, the higher the chance of rejection for a visitor visa. The general feeling I get is that they issue tourist visas only to people who just want to have a fun vacation in the US (or are going for a specific business trip with beginning and end dates) and basically have no interest in the US other than that specific trip.

You can always keep applying, but the chances seem very slim for a visitor visa. You might want to start looking into any other possible visa options if you want to take the exam/study. I don't have any experience with said visas, you can try posting in the "What visa do I need" forum here, maybe other users might know more about such things.

Yup, as I said before, try seeing if there's any other kind of visa you might be eligible for. Student visa or some kind of visa that better fits your exact intention of why you want to go to the States, and therefore the officers wouldn't be skeptical about your exam/study intentions.

It's honestly not even about the income......it's more about the intention of the trip. In Russia, poor, low-income people get approved for tourist visas all the time (I know people personally who have), but they almost always have no interest in the US other than their trip. That's just how it is....find a visa whose intention matches your own, and you'll have much higher chance of approval. That's my advice.

I think applying for a 4th!?!?!? time in a row will make things much much worse. You can thank those "thoughtful" people from your country before you who obtained tourist visas and either overstayed or used them to immigrate to the US.

Yes, you should not have paid for the exam without the visa in hand. But hindsight is 20/20 and it is non-refundable.

As stated by others, you need to apply for the visa on your own merit. Anyone showing that they and not you will finance your trip can hurt instead of help your application.

I'm not sure what you can do but I believe you will be denied again as they view you as desperate to enter the US for an unnecessary reason. Good luck!

Your reason makes sense but the type of visa you applied for casts some doubts.

I know that in other nations developing and underdeveloped nations, a degree or certificate from a US, Canada or UK is a huge boost for your career but that exams is not just for certificate. The main purpose is to practice in the US with the certification.

Your best bet is to apply to a school..Like for a master's program, then study for the exams and take it while you are doing your master's program and hopefully, you can switch over into a dental program or get an employer to sponsor you while you are here.

I remember in college, there were lots of Nigerian doctors studying for the foreign medical doctor exams of this kind. It wasn't easy. Only a few could pass the exams and move into medical practice in US. Majority ended up finishing the master's program they were enrolled in.

The visitor visa won't help you and you might never get it.

Depositing a lump sum amount into your bank account is a red flag. You need to show strong ties to your country that you will return when you apply for visitor's visa.

Student's visa would be better option.

THEY don't know if you get a chance, but if you tell them "Well if I get a chance, I will" is basically saying "If the chance arrives, I'm totally staying whether you like it or not" or "I'm totally staying even if I'm not suppose too!".

You coming to the US on a tourist visa is for you to tour, it's not for business because you don't need this test to practice dental work in your home country.

I don't see you getting a visa, 4 tries in and you're not doing it for "visiting reasons" or even for "business reasons", you're doing them for reasons that would help you peruse a career in the US one day. That's not something the visitor visa covers.

And are you saying that you only make 400 something USD a month or a year? Either way both are EXTREMELY low, and there's no way they would let you in on that income.

If they looked at that, there's no reason to think you wouldn't stay in the US as you should have little to no money to even get back to your own country.

Also about the NBDE:

Honestly if your CO does a little bit of googling that takes a couple of seconds, they'll find that you're not just trying to boost your CV for the gulf, but for the US.

You may have a better chance getting a student visa, taking some courses and then taking this exam, at least you're being somewhat honest about why you want in the US.

Edit: As a note, you can keep applying for all the visas as you want. But they can see all these applications and the outcome of all these interviews. You don't know what was put in the system by your past CO's, which stinks because it could be why the CO interviewing you gives you a big fat no.

Something has to change, either you have to be trying to come into the US for reasons that would equate to you NOT looking like you're going to want to stay. Right now, taking a test that licenses you in the US and helps you go to US schools, just makes you look like you want to stay.

you know I thought it does not matter what I make, as I'm not sponsoring myself and my family is going to support me. Besides I got assets under my name (documented) worthy of around 70,000 USD.

By "If I got a chance, I will" I meant it to be more logical as to why am I doing this exam. Meaning, since the exam main purpose is to pursue career in the US, so I will tell them I am getting back home, and If I passed part one and two, I will distantly apply to schools, and If I got accepted I will go on a student visa (which is totally legal and most of the international dentists in the US had done it this way).

I really feel there is no way out of this now and wish I hadn't apply in the 1st place.

No matter what you say or believe there is no sponsorship for a visitor visa(b1/b2). You must apply and be approved on your OWN merits and your own merits ALONE. Period. End of story. You can complain all you want but those are the rules. You must present evidence that you will return home beyond a shadow of a doubt and having a brother here in the US works against you, not for you. You also must prove that you can fund your trip 100% on your own without relying on someone else to help. The fact that you bought a non-refundable ticket to the US before you were approved is your problem, you should have done your research before buying the ticket. Every single day on this site there is at least one thread from someone who either wants to apply for a visitor visa or already has applied for one, believing that there is some sort of sponsorship and that having a letter from someone willing to sponsor will get them a b2 visa. It simply is not true.

Professional exams can go both ways. A cousin of mine applied for a visitor visa several years ago for taking USMLE medical exams. Applied and got the visa in the first try. Took the step 1 exam, was grilled by CBP on the next entry to take step 2, but granted entry. Subsequently tried for a medical career in the US, didn't work out, so instead decided to be a doctor overseas.

No one taking a professional exam in the US ever keeps a US career off the table. The CO saw thru that in OP's case.

Okay the problem is I didnt have a bank account myself as I was a student. I have the money , Dad's money, but if I deposit it once, it's not a good sign.

I don't know about other consulates, but I've known people here who got tourist visas approved with extremely little financial evidence. Just a couple pay stubs from a few measly Russian salaries (usually around 400 bucks a month), marked "I will pay for my trip" and boom, approval. The key deciding factor it seems was that these people had zero ties to/interest in the US/US citizens other than just "I want to visit some touristy places!" Might just be a Russia thing, though. But I guess it was still their own bank account/job, so maybe that was the difference.

Kind of makes you wonder, doesn't it? Maybe there was an overly generous CO who ended up getting fired for that, heh. But really, I've known so many people here who apart from having a stable (albeit low-paying) job, basically have no other ties to Russia and get approved. Weird.

Study a lot...I did not enjoy that exam, but part II is much worse. I understand it is done on a computer now.
