I did my medical in advance too back in 2013. SLEC allowed me as long as I understood that the medical is only valid for 6 months.

As Greenbaum stated, no worries about a minor cough or cold. One benefit to knowing your interview date before scheduling the medical is being able to have the dates close in proximity. The timelines for your visa is tied to the medical date, not the interview date (unless things have changed). I personally would not want them to be too far apart. I know you said that you don't have (that's a very good thing!), but IF something showed up, then your interview would be postponed until the medical situation was resolved.

Greenbaum, please correct me if things have changed over the past few years! Salamat!

i wonder if the health care providers in Chong hua and cebu doctors aren't professionals? By the way before that I had an xray with makati med. ahmm are you saying triple check? lol
