Yes i'm done (last month). I got my visa after 4 days from interview, we are just waiting for our daughters DFA appt (passport) so as soon as we got her passport then we will leave asap.

Like you've said you had no problems on your interview so you will be fine just need to be more patient. In the mean time maybe you could start sorting out your stuffs for your luggage, or maybe stwrt shopping for plane tickets (just to gave you an idea on how much would it cost) or start buying pasalubongs for you dear one/s. ?

I called the customer service of the embassy this evening, she said my passport is in the embassy. Disregard the ceac status because sometimes its not updating as its supposed to be. She told me to wait, if ever there is additional information to be asked, they will call or send an email.

My own thoughts after the call. Its a case to case basis yes, but maybe depends on who handles the case. Some officer adjucates faster than the other.

Maybe I will just make myself busy at work to divert the anxiousness regarding this process.

Thank you Aila, I cant make compromises yet without the visa on hand.

Called the embassy? Waste of time, call center staff don't know the details ... and for sure won't give you a valuable update.

You really need to RELAX!

I am disengaging myself in excitement of receiving my visa. So frustrated because I cant be able with my husband the soonest as what we've planned.Which that's the only purpose of our petition, to live and work together in harmony. I would totally understand the delays if we got a 221g, but all the flows are smooth and easy. Some people I knew got their visas in 3-4 days span, also I have the earlier interview date than them. If they say background check, the USCIS did it already for sure, from marriage to criminal records before they made the approvals. The last update of my status was on October 7, nothings follow. So would not be frustrated of this situation? Also I've read in some topics having their cases the same as mine for months and years.

What USCIS did or didn't do has NO bearing on what USEM does. USCIS grands the "right" to apply for a visa, everything they did was for reaching that decision. USEM does their own process for approving your visa application.

As stated many times before, how one person's visa is processed has NO bearing on how your visa will be processed.

Go visit with your family, relax... enjoy the day. Stop stressing..

Visa chase and citizenship.. DONE!
