Hello all, so I'm in the process of adjusting status from k1..I'm currently filing out form i864 and on question 19a which ask for most recent 3 tax filed...in our case, my fiancee only has 2014 and 2015 tax returns available. .question is do we just put in the 2 recent ones we have or we need to request for the 3rd one to complete it? Thanks for answers

It askes for the most recent tax return, BUT you can tick a box of if you voluntarily send in 3 years of tax returns. (Guess if you are self-employed they want 3 years) .... Often if a person is right on the poverty guide line they also want 3 years. But remember all the supporting documents also.

Get the last 3 years of tax transcripts from the IRS for free. You must enter the Total Income from the last 3 years of tax returns where it asks. It is not optional. You enter the correct information, or you include a statement to explain why you were not legally required to file taxes any of the last 3 years you did not.
