Hello guys, i know consulates are dealing differently with this, but for those who attended interviews in cairo ,Does the embassy allow you to bring your american fiancee/wife to the interview ?

and could this be more helpful to prove bona fide relationship ?

Questions asked to my husband Where did we meet? How did we connect?(this is what she asked, i guess she meant how did we stay in touch) Did we have a wedding?

I attended the interview with my fiancé at the embassy in Cairo. I definitely think it helped.

There's no way to know for sure whether it had any impact on our case.

But it certainly made the stress for my fiancé and I a bit less. Just being next to each other for support is invaluable.

They interviewed us together however my fiancé (the beneficiary) answered all the questions unassisted from me. That's how it should go. I just stood beside and let him and the CO conduct the interview.

There was one question the CO specifically directed at me but that was it.

The total interview was maybe 5-10 minutes. Only a few questions were asked. Nothing surprising - you can read/search the common questions.

yes , i did a fiance visa last year .it usually took 2 months for the embassy to schedule an interview after you send packet 3 . i think things changed now and your fiance should be able to log on and schedule an interview himself.hopefully some one who had his interview lately can help you more with this.
