Can anyone please share how many days it took for you to receive your passport with Visa in it after your interview at Montreal? Thanks!

I would love to get feedback regarding this as well, please. I had my interview on September 12th, got approved, and my status on CEAC still says "Ready". The two weeks is now up and still not status change. Should I be worried?

my passport was ready to be picked up in exactly 1 week - didn't take that long at all.

That's why I'm freaking out. My status said 'ready' before the interview. Went to the interview, got approved, status said 'Ready' ... BUT.. the status update date changed to the day of the interview. Since then, no changes.

There's a whole thread in here on exactly this topic. If you read even the last 2 or 3 pages you will see the range in time. If you email them, if you get a response at all it will be a form email that says "it can take up to 8 weeks" IIRC. I completely understand your worries and anxiety, but in 999/1000 cases if there's something wrong/missing you will hear about it before you leave your interview. It's just that they take longer with some people than with others.

No problem. It's frustrating when you hear that someone else got theirs right away, I know! but it doesn't mean that there's something wrong with yours. :) Just keep breathing and you'll be ISSUED before you know it.

They should send links to meditation seminars out with the NOA2, it's so hard to be patient through this, even when it goes quickly. There was a couple here that applied the same day as we did, who got theirs issued some two months before we did, it's just how it goes. I hope yours is issued soon!

LOL @ "meditation seminars"... Made my day :) I mean for me I get happy when others get their visas cause I know they went through the same stressors I did... But its just that it casts a certain doubt as to what the hold up is. I mean why promise two wreks if you can't deliver on that promise.

We had our interview one week ago, and I went to pick mine up at the post office today. I received tracking info that the Montreal consulate had shipped it yesterday Xpresspost, and I received it today. Great service!

This has been one heck of a roller coaster ride with few answers. Can you please tell me how long it took from the time you were approved until your status said "Issued". I've been waiting 3 weeks and nothing has changed, and I'm getting very worried.

I'm not exactly sure because I didn't follow the status on CEAC until I just looked at it yesterday. My interview was Sept 21, and on CEAC it says:

Issued
Application ID or Case Number: ##### Case Creation Date: 22-Sep-2016 Status Updated Date: 26-Sep-2016

My passport was sent from the consulate on Sept 27 and arrived in St. John's, NL today.

Not sure if this helps you or not!
