You pretty much just wasted your K1 visa because you will now have to start over as a CR1 and wait up to a year for her to come here.

Social media, or a field study where they ask neighbors. If they EVER find out you married before entering your wife becomes deportable for visa fraud.

Get on out of here with that fear mongering #######. my wife WOULD not be deported if she arrived on a k1 and they somehow found out we got married over there while i was visiting. Goodness get real

I filed K-1 after my first visit but went back and married my husband months later. I did not withdraw my K-1, I filed the marriage visa, attached my original NOA1 receipt (NOA2 had not yet arrived) and entered the new evidence with it of my marriage. The USCIS sent me a letter explaining they dropped my I-129 and added the marriage visa to my case and updated. It only took eight months total from when I submitted the new application and evidence to when my husband was approved and allowed to come home to me.

It's better to follow the rules and do it the right way the first time.

Why don't you just do a small ceremony there involving no paperwork? So you can have the "party" without being officially married! Then bring her here and do the official business when she arrives on her K-1.

Where you say there is "no way for them to find out," that's just not true. They can most certainly look up records from her country. Marrying her there and then continuing with the process would be considered fraud and qualifies her for a lifetime ban from entering the US.

JFH gave you an answer to that in your last post BEFORE you got married so you most have know.

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/609277-another-marriage-question/#entry8299473

You just made your process longer and paid a fee you can't get back.

Also i don't get why you keep trying to find ways around normal processing that everbody has to go through. The rules that apply to others also apply to you, so just take it as it is and do it right so you won't get problems later on!

Your embassy isn't easy to start with either

Why on earth did you even ask a question when you won't listen to the answers you get?

Some embassies even ask for proof of not being married at the K1 interview. This IS a big deal. Low chances of being caught does not make fraudulent and disrespectful behavior ok.

ughhh thats a silly question. So i cant ask a question without calling out the fear mongering?

thats a good idea thx

Yes she would, and it has happened before.
