It's called 'administrative processing' at NVC. Please take a look at post #1, the delay is really one of those categories.

Can you head some light on my situation potomac service center said they had a system software problem in july and created a huge back log but they are back up now, can we look to see cases approved this week?

This process drived me mad but is coming to a end thank God. ???
