Yes am aware - hence never took the European one even though my father has it. Got papers together to apply now and will get it in a month if I do - but don't want any more delay in my I-130 because of change nationality.

Given it won't really help me visit either. I will just apply for B1/B2 again - given changed circumstances when last applied and hope.

Will bother with the European one only after my green card perhaps - if not too complex.

What does '..never took the European one..' mean?

Seems to contradict your initial post of a new European passport is in process for you.

I am familiar with the UK process, but not Europe other than some generalities.

Usually Citizenship is something you have and a Passport is something that shows it. Vaguely intrigued as to which country, I used Malta as an example of situations where buying in is possible, well for now anyway, seems EU is not too happy about it.

Most countries are sort of similar to the US and UK, you acquire citizenship, you can sponsor children to join you and then years later they can apply for Citizenship.

KierenHby - it was NOT the topic right?!?!? Seriously - do you want me to put my full life out here. It was not related to the post!

I know other legalities and was asking a US specific questions - are you just looking to find issues?!?

I wouldn't bother with the European passport unless you can have dual citizenship and you think it will somehow help your case to get a B visa. It has the potential, but spouse in America, pending I-130, and a denial is not helping your chances. Lying on the ESTA form might lead to a lifetime ban, so don't even chance it.

The death of his parents might be less of a reason to give you a visa because you could have more potentiality to stay.

3/2/18  E-filed N-400 under 5 year rule

3/26/18 Biometrics

7/2019-12/2019 (Yes, 16- 21 months) Estimated time to interview MSP office.

No way i would ever lie on any forms. Not in that category of people.

If i did go on b1/b2 - i would simply not stay - just not my thing to break or push rules.

For now looking at a destination out of the US near Florida where i can fly to and hopefully hubby and kids and other family perhaps fly out to and we have a family holiday (any suggestions of destination to where we can go to where fares from Florida is cheap - Bahamas is one)

Mexico is an option close to Florida. Indian passport holders need visas for Mexico also. I think pretty much wherever you go you are going to need a visa. But some visas will be easier to obtain than others.

No visa required to Jamaica for 6 months stay for either you or your family. Cheap to fly here from the US flight is also pretty short.
