actually i lied at the airport am coming on a vacation which i have made my hotel reservation and everything so the officer asked me if i knew someone in the US and i said no and after he accepting and giving me the entry i was delayed again by the custom officer to check my bag and search me so me having a little huge money on me they also stated to ask me questions if am carrying any piles and stuffs and i said no due to that i was delayed so my father who was waiting for me outside and me not showing up in time then called the immigration n asked of me so it gave the immigration to come and call me back for further questions so whiles i was still insisting i dont know nobody there with my same words and defending my way out the it turn to be like am lying to them and i filling a form which my email was there so they hacked my email and also saw i have some few friends in the US so due to all this they said am lying to them so they will send me back to africa which i didnt challenge them with nothing so this was how the whole thing went

Wow. That was just so unnecessary, too. Knowing someone in the US does not stop you from being let in. Lying does.

i had my visa through an agent and with no travelling experience i was told if you are going to the US with a holiday visa you cant say you are visiting your dad at the port of entry otherwise they wont let you in so you better say you are just coming on vacation with a hotel reservation that was why i said that in the first place

That was horrible advice. You never lie to CBP. Visa agents mislead people all he time.

If it was a B Visa you would have needed to fill in an application and sign it.

What do you mean by Diplomatic Office.

Obviously matters what was said on your visa application.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Ohh, well sounds like nothing you can do now, wait and see what happens at the interview.

When one travels and claims its a hotel they'll be staying most time the confirmation will

be requested, travel funds, cell phones, even balance on one ATM card can be queried by CBP

that was bad advice.

Diplomatic visas are issued for workers in the Embassy entourage like maids, security , family

members etc which the US state dept would be very aware of due to security and immunity, so it

smells fishy here , lies obviously were told and this diplomatic thing is taken very serious when

the US find maybe corruption (not saying it was)

Yes any petition for you will be picked apart even if you can get a waiver for such misrep

The Minister will also lose any connections with the embassy even if he is removed to another

office or shame may cause him to be fired by the powers that be there.
