In short, since I have to run, alcohol abuse and drunk driving affect people of all ages, from all cultures, social and economic backgrounds. Since your spouse is form Russia, you probably know how big of a problem it is there. Do young Mexican males drive drunk a lot? Probably. Young males everywhere do.

I thought the remark was flippant at best, and I hope you didn't intend it as worse. Drunk driving is just as big of an issue with young American males.

But thats not what this thread is about. It's not about a frat boy killing a nun while driving drunk. It's about a criminal illegal alien who should not have been here in the first place. A criminal illegal alien who should have been locked up but instead was released into the American population to drive drunk and to kill someone. Do you have any issues with that? I do.

Just went back and read my first post. I didn't mean to write "you young Mexican men"...lol. I started typing young and must have screwed up. No wonder I was confused about what the heck was going on there for a while. That's what happens when posting from a phone and not proofreading before hitting the post button.

Drunk driving is a serious issue as is the fact that criminals are not locked up (or deported in the case of someone who is here illegally).

I would have been happy to discuss things pertinent to either of those issues without introducing a broader generalization about Mexican males. Somehow I get the feeling if the perpetrator of this crime was a white frat boy, we would have been discussing him and not his race.
