I was given form of an approved aabb center for my child dna to be taking then test kits was sent to ghana for mine to be taking. It was sent to the embassy and I tracked the shipping info and it has been received by the embassy. But they have to call me for mine to be taking by their panel physicians. Thats what it says on the paper given to me after my interview.

Ok we were all together and did it on the spot. Maybe its why they have to call you then.

I would email them DR replies within minutes.

Ghana and Nigeria aren't the fastest with DNA testing. Just keep emailing them. It takes 2 to 4 months. For Ghana more closer to 3 to 4 months. Why are you worried you know your embassy is slow. And they only ask for DNA test when everything else is good to go.

Just email and ask for status.

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

A week is too early for you to be fussing.

None of this immigration process is quick. The fastest turnaround time is at least 30 days. Especially in Ghana. That's why anytime someone gets rescheduled for 22nd interview, it is scheduled 30 days away.

So you keep emailing them to remind them maybe every 2 weeks.

But they will definitely call you to come for the form to go do the testing.
