Just Getting Really Frustrated

I've been looking at other users on here who have fiancé's in the UK, and most of them got their NOA2's between 40 and 60 days, some in as little as a month. It's been 40 days for us, and nothing. The timelines on here says the CSC is processing cases from June 24th, but another person I talked to on here sent their I-129F a week before me, and already got their NOA2. I just don't understand why some people get it faster than others when it's for the same country? And the USCIS doesn't update the cases online so I have no idea what's going on. It's super discouraging that some people have gotten their NOA2's so soon and we're still waiting.

Sounds about right...USCIS, NVC, the embassy they have there own timelines and go in no order. Its crazy!!

March is my month i just had my interview currently waiting for the visa to be issued.

My process was long and it seems to keep getting longer.

But with that being said years ago it was years worth of waiting.

Cheer up soon enough youll be dealing with the lovely folks at NVC and then the Embassy.

One word of advice not two cases will EVER be the same.

The country your fiancé is from has no bearing on the uscis stage.

Hang in there. You'll get your noa2 soon enough. In the mean time, get everything you can ready for the embassy so you can move as quickly as possible there.

Like someone else said, the country has nothing to do with it.

And the reason for why USCIS isn't updating your case online is because nothing has happened to it yet. They won't update until they actually pick it up (which they still haven't) and decide to either send you an RFE or NOA2.

128 days after i got my NOA1, their timeframe is somewhere around 5-6 months... i know it's sad because the whole process is stressful but... we have nothing to do with that.

It"s too soon to be frustrated.

Processing is on June 24, but you are at July 22. Wait 28 more days.

Most get between 40 and 60 days. You are on 40. Wait 20 more.

Your timeline calculates sept 22-27. Wait 20-25 more days.

When you get weeks past those dates, then be frustrated. Anything before is silly to get emotional over.

i wouldnt stress the process is actually going way faster compared to the summer , i remember when the avg for noa2 was 80 plus days , now its only 69 days and as you said ive seen some getting it 40- 60 days , trust you have no reason to be mad at this point

Your so right. ROC for us is almost 290 days. Looks like it will be a year. OP try that for patience. Relax and stop looking everyday. Get the phone app to help with another set of eyes.

I feel the exact same ... I'm from the UK and I had to wait 77 days nobody can guarantee when you'll get approved, wether you'll get a RFE or anything the USCIS has their own weird way of dealing with these files so we'll never know the ins and outs of if. You've just got to be patient (people would always tell me this and I'd be furious) but just enjoy it right now and let it flow you've got the rest of your lives together tomorrow is just another day :-)

lol I was about to comment on this.. hahahah 40 days... and frustrated.. nonono That is nothing compared to many of us March filers. I guess that's why som many of us are replying

We had ppl all over the place.. most of us got our NOA2's in June.... some in July.. some of us have just made it to POE and some of us are stuck at the embassy still... This is just something you'll have to accept unfortunatelý, as part of the process

I know the feeling, i waited 69 Days for our NOA2. Being the beneficiary in the UK i know how hard it is, but trust me, keep plugging away, gather all the documents you need so when the NOA2 arrives you can be ready!

if you look at my timeline, mine is updated and is pretty accurate. from 8th Aug receiving the NOA2 i have medical on 6th Sept and interview on 19th Sept. thats just over a month!!! i chased the NVC after 1 week but i also followed the threads here religiously and hopefully all that hard work and countless days on the FaceTime and Skype are about to pay off.

You are within standard processing time... which in USCIS terms is 6 months (regardless of if it is faster or longer). Over 200 days like 2014/2015 filers? Pfft, the USCIS doesn't care about numbers, just the one they imagine!

That being said, I think you'll probably see some result on your case within a month or two. I know it's hard, but things should start to move along quicker once you get into the consulate process. Your country has nothing to do with it.. just kind of imagine it like your folder was dumped into a giant trash wheelie bin. Maybe Sue grabs five files out of that mixed up pile. Maybe Steve gets three, and Tom feels like slacking and only takes one. Boo Tom, boo. On the way all three might have a coffee break, bathroom break + while reading twitter for extended periods of time, and then get seriously distracted by Candy Crush.. in reality they are probably playing Pokémon Go... and before you know it.. oops it's time to go home.

They will get to it, just have to hang on for a while longer. When it gets over six months, then you can kick up a fuss with them.
