Marrying someone from another country just not allow them to just come back with you. You have to petition them. It will take 12 months about. Don't know what he is talking about 3 months.

There's money to file will cost about $1000.

However you seem to have bigger issue. You are already thinking this man maybe using you for visa.

No he can't use your visa don't know what you mean by that. What USA visa stamp? Please clarify.

You have some decisions to make about money and travel. And petitioning this man. Seems like real big red flags already and you haven't even met yet.

Take your time and go meet him. You really don't have to get married the first time you meet and you seem SO unsure of his real intentions about all this. I'm guessing you are the older one. Is he fine with not having kids?

Like said above it takes a year to get the visa and he can't move to the us before that. He can come and visit or you can visit him in the mean time.

It's expensive there are filing fees and medical fees and interview fees and so on have you talked about who will cover all of this? And there will be fees in the future as well.

Take your time and get to know this man before you marry

Have you even met this man before? No dont get married the first time, especially if you're concerned and more concerning for me, that you havent even a clue on how a spouse of a USC comes to the USA to live.

Just a thought but there is a TV series covering situation such as yours, 90 Day Fiance.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

i have skyped with a lot of his family he says& they say they love me a lot.

Of course they love you a lot... you are their meal tickets to US.

Sometimes, it is really hard for me to understand how people could 'love' someone so much without actual physical face time together. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

More like falling in love with a dream, a fantasy rather than reality.

If you are really going to visit him, remember to take a closer look at his young female relatives.

The one quietly serving you tea, water might turn up to be his hidden fiancee / wife.

Never be pressured to rush into marriage with him if you are so unsure. You will live to regret it.

If you have a gut feeling he's using you for a visa, he in all likelihood IS.

He's already ordering you to do things his way, a bad omen. A domineering man like that doesn't "marry" someone with a 20 year age gap. Get to know him.. don't fall for him.

He can't come to the US under your visa. You don't have a visa since you are USC it does not make sense at all. And he does not have a work visa for the US not true. Either he just is completely clueless or just filing you with bulls*it so you will do what he says.

You REALLY need to read and read and read so you know what you are dealing with when it comes to visa.

you WILL be on the hook for him if you bring him here (Also if he leaves you) I hope you are aware of that too.

If you divorce because he was a fraud, you still have to pay! You can't make him leave. He can stay if he can scam the government too. Everyone on here is telling you this sounds like a scam. Many of us have been here for YEARS (I joined in 2012!) and this sounds like a scam to me.

If he had a work visa he could just come here. Since he is not doing that he is lying to you.

Him coming to visit you and your parents first sounds an excellent idea.
