Melania Trump files defamation lawsuit against Daily Mail and Maryland blog

That apparently didnt do the trick: the Guardians Ben Jacobs reports Melania Trump sent out a press release announcing shed officially filed suit in Maryland:

While the statement claimed that the damages were estimated at $150 million, the complaint itself wasnt immediately available and its unclear how much Trump is actually suing for.

Because this world is very small, we should note that the Daily Mail itself brought a defamation lawsuit against Gawker Media. That suit is ongoing.

This is the first time Melania Trump has pursued legal action against a media outlet during the campaign. Its a sharp contrast to how the Trump camp responded when nude photos of her were published in the New York Post. Donald Trump issued a statement then saying that while he didnt know Melania at the time they were shot, pictures like this are very fashionable and common in Europe.

But escort claims seem to be a step too far for Donald Trump to even tweet angrily about. He hasnt mentioned the story publicly at all, and Melania hasnt commented further than her statement beyond tweeting links to all three retractions.

Politico reported previously that other news outlets in the United Kingdom were warned about publishing the escort allegations, presumably by Harder. Both Bipartisan Report and Inquistr have, of course, deleted their stories; the Daily Mail now has too, though theirs remained up for a little longer, with a breathless headline touting Melanias VERY racy past.

Doesn't matter. No matter what they find it won't hurt Trump's chances. He could have dead babies in his closet and they'd be like, those babies must have done something to deserve that...

I don't know where I read it but I know somewhere somebody mentioned a woman named Capitolina as being the next Mrs. Trump. I probably read it in the comments section of some article.

Take consolation in the following facts:

Compared to previous Republican candidates, Trump has ZERO ground game. Registration, transportation, campus ralleys, get out the vote, Getting your folks to the polls is probably 1-3 % additional points above the poll ( or tax if you don't have one )

Comparing Romney's actuals to his poll averages, you might subtract 2 % from his poll numbers

The only states where Trump has any gains over 2012 would be Nevada and Ohio. In the end the get out the vote effort for the Dems will prevail in Las Vegas. Trump cannot even get the governor and senator of Ohio to campaign with him.

The Electoral map path to victory for Trump is very difficult, it was hard for Romney, demographic shifts have made it harder for any Republican candidate.

Trump does not understand and is not listening to the folks who know what needs to be done. In the area of campaigning the guy is acting like a druken idiot. Don't come to Washington State where you have a 3 % chance of wining, go to Ohio, Penn and Florida where you must win.

My estimate: Take 4 % off of Trumps swing state polling as a Trump Tax

Tip: Don't read Brietbart, they are deluded.
