Infopass Appointment

It has been awhile since I posted here so I am not sure if this is the right pace to ask this question.

I am currently in the middle of getting my green card replaced. My original one was lost. I got my bio-metrics done a few weeks ago. I am planning on going up to Canada next week for my sister's wedding. We will be driving across the border. I know I won't get my green card in time. I am also waiting on my Canadian passport which I am hoping comes this week. I was told I need to get the I-551 stamp in that passport so I can get back into the US.

The problem I am having is setting up a infopass appointment. I did set up and cancel 2 appointments because my passport still had not arrived. Now when I go to confirm an appointment I keep getting this error Message, "Nass Infopass general error". I have tried clearing out my cookies, using my husband's computer, using my phone and even using my husband's info and I still get the same message. I did try calling the USCIS the other day but they said everything was working fine on their end and to just try using a different browser.

I tried searching for this error on Google and nothing comes up about it.

I called the USCIS again today and the first guy said he never heard of that error message and would transfer me to level 2. I am currently waiting for a callback from level 2.

almost 3 hours later I get a call back.. they have no idea what this error is.. he couldn't really help me. He just suggested I just do a print out of the error message and do a walk-in and explain the situation..

So I have been still trying to get an appointment so I can say I tried. Well, today I finally got an appointment. But the earliest one now was August 30th. We are basically going to have to leave right after I get my stamp as we have to be in Canada by Spetember 2nd. All this is meaningless though if I don't get my passport. :P
