visa wait times for delivery to 2Go

So I know there are older threads on this but wondering about recent trends.

CR1 and CR2 visas from Manila embassy delivered to Marikina 2GO.

interview scheduled for August 22nd and hoping to book a flight for September 5th. That's around 14 calendar days I think but the 10th day is a Thursday. With 3 tickets to buy I could save about $1500 booking on the 22nd (after approval) rather than wait until visa in hand

It usually is advised to not book any flights until the visa is in hand because you never know what might happen... But I can understand why you would want to book early. I think it can take anywhere from 5-10 business days for the visa to be ready for pick-up... I read about someone receiving their visa in Cebu after 10 business days, although since you'll be picking yours up in Marikina, it may take just 3-5 business days.

It's risky, but I hope everything works out for you! :)

I have seen from 2 days to 9 months. You buy tickets you know you are rolling the dice. To change tickets your penalties may be more than your saving.

My husband received his visa 3 days after his interview and we had out flight booked before his interview! But this is just our experience...

Received mine 7 days after interview then made a schedule for cfo seminar before purchasing ticket
