Preparing for Next Steps After NOA-2 in Uganda

Hi everyone

We are in the process of getting a K-1 visa for my Ugandan fiance. Although I know that we can't speed up the process, we want to make sure that we are as prepared as possible for the next steps after we receive our NOA-2 hopefully within the next month or two.

What can we do now rather than later to make us prepared?

Any recommendations on where to get vaccinations, the timing of the vaccinations, and suggestions about when to begin the process of Interpol? We want to make sure that we are not held up by a lack of documents or by having any outstanding requirements when the time comes.

Hi! I am also in the process of filing for a k-1 visa with my Ugandan fiancé. The one thing that comes to mind in regards to timing is any form that required an original signature for me to send in from the U.S. or for him to take with him to the interview because this meant we had to mail the forms to our respective countries. For example, when I filed the initial petition (I 129-F) I had to wait for him to mail me his signed intent to marry letter from Uganda to the U.S. because the original signature was required on the document, not a scanned or faxed copy.
