I'm petitioning for m fiance to come here from the Philippines. I'm preparing evidence for the I134 (Affidavit of Support) and have a question about sending my tax records. I just feel there's a lot of personal information there maybe I don want floating around. Can I white out sensitive information like my social security number?

I would recommend not altering the document. If you white stuff on it, I am afraid they will refuse it. I would not be afraid of sharing government information with the government.

Don't alter the forms or transcripts in any way. If you do, it can send up a red flag and get you an RFE or even a complete denial. I understand being worried about your personal info, but that info is what helps them confirm you are who you say you are.

Well the good news is the USEM Philippines hasn't been asking for financial information for sometime now. So the only one privy of that information will be your fiancee. But, having said this the Embassy states in P3 that it could be asked for. So, I suggest you prepare the I-134 and send it to your fiancee. Or you could roll the dice and if she isn't asked for it no harm but she is asked the worst that can happen is you get an RFE and a delay of 3 weeks. Rarely have I heard that is asked for anymore. This is for the Philippines only other Embassy's may do things differently.

Also, the NVC website has a link to pay the visa fees but when I clicked to pay it says that payments are done at he consulate by my fiance. Is that the case?
