Hello, we sent our file at 6-6-2016

Your case has been accepted and routed to the USCIS California Service Center for processing. Within 7-10 days by standard mail you will receive your official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) with your Receipt Number WACxxxxxxxxxx. With the official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) you may visit www.uscis.gov where you can check the status of your case using My Case Status. We suggest you wait until you have received your Form I-797 before checking My Case Status.

This confirmation provides notification of the date USCIS received your case. This notice does NOT grant any immigration status or benefit. You MAY NOT present this notice as evidence that you have been granted any immigration status or benefit. Further, this notice does NOT constitute evidence that your case remains pending with USCIS. The current status of your case must be verified with USCIS.

PLEASE DO NOT REPLY TO THIS MESSAGE

And today i check our status, it says

On June 29, 2016, the Post Office returned your document to us. We will hold your document for 180 days or until December 26, 2016. Please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request that we resend the document to you. If you do not submit an online request by December 26, 2016, we will destroy your document and you will need to file a new Form I-129F, Petition for Fiance(E), with fee. If you move, go towww.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

We tried to got in e request and we dont know what to pick. Should we pick did not recieve notice by mail? but it says document. After we pick notice by mail, it asks notice type. Which type we should pick? Other or approvel. We didnt get approvel yet. Please help. Thank you.

This is most likely for the NOA1 they sent it by mail your address must be wrong.

Check your copy of the petition to verify the address you submitted and update your address if it is wrong. The actual 129 f is at cali...but you need to update address

Something they sent you was returned. I agree that it appears to be the receipt notice, if you never received it in the mail as of yet. Have you?

Check with the USCIS to confirm your address with them and make sure they have it correct in their system.

If it is NOA1 then the form is called i-797c (?), in case you need to know that to ask for a new one.

I can't imagine it being anything else than the NOA1 at this point in time if you haven't received it already, since your petition has been accepted and sent to CSC recently.

As others have stated, it sounds like the hard copy of the NOA1. Register on the USCIS website, this will allow you to A:) monitor you application status B:) submit a change of address to correct any errors in their system. You have the receipt number which is all you need.

Good Luck

And by the way you may want to correct your timeline to get a more accurate adjudication date.

All petitions are sent into the Texas lockbox and then forward to the servicing center. That is different than the Texas service center you selected. You were not transferred from there.

Ok yeah we typed the address wrong... it should be 3958 we typed 3968 :(

Is that be a problem? My fionce is gonna call them in monday. He can not call them weekend.

The process is still ongoing right? This problem is not gonna make a delay on process?

Thank you for answers. Should we click address change or we didnt get the receipt button?

You need to update the address, then you can request a new one, otherwise they will just sent it to the wrong address once more. The receipt number is what is important in the long run, but the paper NOA1 will let you see if anything else is entered wrong. Since you received the e-mail, you can rest assured, you have joined the rest of us in the long wait for NOA2.

Good Luck,

No, the receipt notice would tell you it was sent to that service center, not transferred. Actual transfers are from one service center to another, and you receive a transfer notice. The Dallas Lockbox is not the Texas Service Center > http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/538432-process-for-the-mailing-and-receiving-of-i-129f-petitions/

Just keep a close eye on USCIS so they actually change your address. We thought we changed our address, we even got an email about it from the USCIS - but our NOA2 was still sent to the old address.
