Thank you for this update. I am so glad to hear this. This must be such a relief! It looks like you received it 1.5 months after your entry. I am trying to wait for mine patiently!!!

I have an update on the status of my card. After almost two months after POE, today, I received an update saying "my card is being produced." They approved my application and ordered my card to be produced. I hope to receive it in few weeks. I will send a follow-up once I receive it in mail (hopefully soon!). Thanks everyone...

Hey all....

this is my husband's status which according to our lawyer is a bit weird at the moment. he got approved for the i-485 on his interview

Approval: august 28th

got his package: sept 3rd

immigration fee: sept 3rd

poe: sept: 13th

status on uscis: approved os155A form,  card is being produced as of october 2nd when it was ordered.

today, october 19th: received a letter saying he needs to go back to do a code 2 biometrics. like i said our lawyer thinks it's weird but has told me not to worry about it. i've been doing some digging online and it seems like it's not uncommon. my question is does anyone know how long will it take for the card to actually be sent out after the biometrics appointment.

thank you!

Hi everyone,

I started this topic to help everyone waiting for her/his physical green card after she/he arrived to the United States

So I hope everyone share his OS155A status and post the time between his date of entry, the

immigrant fee date, the date you received the physical card in mail.

Wish you all the best

My status:

Poe: Newark May 5 2016

Paid : April 20 2016

USCIS status: payment received on 4/20/2016

Fee paid : April 20

Poe: jfk June 2

I would definitely try to get a hold of someone. I also entered through JFK (and it seems like JFK takes a long time to process things) and received my green card almost 2.5 months after POE. Since you entered on June 2, this is too long. I would call them or make an appointment to inquire further.

Numerous calls once was told was an issue with my address, then after that was told they need more time to find out why I havent received the card as yet

Wow! Another 14 months later and I just received another notification email from USCIS telling me that "On March 16, 2017, the Post Office delivered your new card". I'm glad to see they're still on the ball.

Did you ever call them.etc to find out what was the reason it took so long
