Hi Im following this as this may apply to myself and daughter very soon- i have an expired K1/K2 visa in passports, unlike city2888 london embassy have kept my petition open for the last 14 months- awaiting a court decision to allow my daughter to immigrate. So it saddens me that belfast would not keep yours open. Im awaiting a judgement and it may not go in my favour, if it doesn't, i will need to travel to usa to see my fiance within the next month so i am also freaking out at the prospect that i may be denied entry at POE. London have asked me to inform them when i know the courts decisions and they will advise me on my next steps( if im allowed to immigrate i believe i will need to do medicals and interview again)( if im not allowed who knows as i still intend on marrying my fiance but it may be another year down the line- London embassy have been brilliant in allowing me to keep petion open wit a view to getting a new visa- someone did mention to me its actually very hard to cancel a K1 visa).

Im glad i found this topic as i have gained some tips ie show intent to come back to UK- suppose court papers saying i cant immigrate with child is pretty strong- as i would be deported and who knows... i will make sure i take very little money with me nad my scottish bank cards as previously suggested.

If im to travel to usa on esta and all goes ok or not i will post an let you know how i get on im intending on travelling end July worse case scenario.

good luck though we are probably worrying about nothing

i did email the embassy and ask but they said wait till i get judgement then they will tell me what my options are . I was just trying to prepare for my last court date soon.
