If the CO was showing agreement to file the D3 waiver (I think it is) it may have not been a bad sign

but it is taking a long time, there is really no place to call, wait for the time given to end then email

your embassy...there's no appeal for B1/2

he has a ban for misrepresentation(lying), a work visa cannot help bypass a ban. and getting a work visa isn't easy to obtain in the first place. Unless he were to have a highly specialized degree where an American cannot fill said position it is not an option in the first place. by law US companies cannot hire foreign workers to fill US jobs unless they cannot find a qualified US citizen/resident. Not to mention it is a STUDENT visa he was denied for. Lying to US immigration has dire consequences.

Sorry my comments upset you so much that you need to quote me but there are alot more around here writting the wrong thing so.....unless you want to shut the board down i suggest you find it in your heart to keep quoting my error and report me.
