I am an F-1 student married to my USC wife. We will be filing for AOS soon. Is the combined income of $38,000(reported on married jointly taxes) enough for AOS? I earned about $7,000 out of the $38,000. Our household consists of me and my wife(2 people total).

People have been talking about assets a lot. She only has a $30,000 car as her sole asset beyond her income. Is this enough? Please help!

Also what is the issue with 3 times and 5 times of 125% of poverty limit?

If I read the thread correctly where I think you saw the 3 and 5 it doesn't pertain to your situation. Her $31k alone would satisfy the affidavit of support and she wouldn't have to provide assets.
