For those who suggest getting the police involved, OP stated he has done that but they said there is nothing they can do because she

left of her own free will. I think a PI would be in order to make sure she is save and if so then divorce. Contacting the human trafficking

This was a set up from day 1. The woman came here got all her immigration affairs in order and left when the only left she can do on her own. They bank rolled the OP and when he would give no more she left. The whole time the OP is still paying her cell phone anyway shes fine shes either selling herself in a brothel or working in a factory for pennies paying her families debt which is all I belive the OP has right.

They borrowed monies from vietnamese mafia prob and since OP wouldnt pay the thousand a month they took her to work it off.

He already contacted the police hes all set. Shes grown and is fine. And if the police where concerned they can trace her cellphone which the op still pays.

You think she's fine if she's paying off a debt to the mafia and is probably "selling herself in a brothel" or working in a sweatshop? (Quick refresher: most women in brothels aren't selling themselves. Usually it's other people doing the selling because they are literally enslaved).

Maybe this was part of her plan from the beginning (doubtful) maybe she had information about *half* of the plan (the half where she's taking advantage of OP), but no clue that she was being sold into slavery, or maybe she's 100% an innocent victim in this (the selling took place abroad and others orchestrated using the OP to get her to the US). Or maybe she is 100% just fine and is making her minimum wage and tips and living with a friend from the salon. Maybe. But a lot of signs are pointing very much to scenario #2 or #3 and the fact that OP doesn't seem to care one iota is shocking to the point that I'm pretty sure OP's not telling his whole side of this either.

It seems fairly suspicious to me, that the one thing that stops police from investigating, a note, was provided. Have they not heard of notes being written under duress?

Yep. Can't say this enough. Local PDs can't do much about human trafficking. They don't have the resources and especially in small areas, they don't even know the first thing about it. That's why one of the major things the DOJ and non-profits do to combat human trafficking is to train local police departments, but there's only one DOJ and hundreds of thousands of PDs.

At a minimum, I'd be reaching out to them so that when/if whatever she's a part of gets busted up, I don't get taken down as a co-trafficker (seeing as how I'm the whole reason she's here in the first place).

If shes being used by the shady people i belive yes they made her write it as these people would know a note would stop the police.

I dont say shes fine in the sense that she fine but shes alive somewhere not sure how long...

I dont know how anyone who loves someone does more on here talking about this and less in looking. He said he sent people not even did he go.

Yes, but why? In OP's other post it sounded like she is paying back some kind of family debt. Could be trafficking/slavery. It is unclear. If I were in OP's position I would have gone to the police by now.

He did go to the police. With the letter saying she was leaving, and being an adult who can make their own choices, there is nothing the police can or will do.

There's no chance he can be implicated in anything like that. Yes, he brought her over, but she left him (he has the note) and he tried to file missing person report, so he is in the clear as far as that goes.

As I posted in the other thread you started OP, there are so many human trafficking red flags. I'm disturbed just reading it. I gave you resources, as did other posters, and your concern is divorce.

Ironic given that so many posters, time and again, are on here complaining about the time it takes to bring their spouse/fiance over here. Now you seem ready to throw in the towel.

If my loved one disappeared given this circumstance, I would leave no stone unturned to make sure he is ok. To talk to him face to face and ensure he left of his free will. I remember you said she left her valuable jewelry. That indicates that she intended to return after paying off a debt that wasn't even hers. She hasn't returned. You haven't spoken to her. Your friend couldn't find her.

So what do we know? We know:

Forced labor.

Isolation from family (YOU!).

Left valuables at home.

Hasn't returned.

You are focused on divorce.

Very disturbing.

For all who critize, I have tried to find her, also another reason that I used someone she didn't know was to not "scare" her into hiding. And I have known her cousin long before I knew her, he is pi**ed at her. he is even telling me, as you are, of who to contact to turn her in to the gov't. I am upset but at a loss as to where to look next. I called human trafficing and told all I know, but the man said that this seems like marriage fraud, whom to notify, and to protect myself. He said that these girls get very well versed as to what to do to get the 10yr. green card. Which I already know, he said do not let her into your house alone and to have someone there so she can not cry abuse to the police, even if she only wants her clothes. Sad it has to come to this and yet I still care about her.

This thread has gotten way out of hand but, the OP is not helping the situation. Quite frankly, every time the OP responds it gets worse. I strongly suggest that the OP stop responding to the posts, take the advice given and let us know if your wife is alive and well. I wish you luck and I hope the outcome is favorable.
