I don't know. A guy makes enough money on Wall Street he can tear down a 60 million dollar home. He didnt produce anything really.

Maybe the MDL crowd could explain why it doesn't sit right. I just can't get in touch with my inner liberal enough to explain why it bothers me.

I can't fathom any outrage over such a matter as tearing down a house. It wasn't protected by any preservation laws was it?

The tearing down the house is not the issue. It's the growing gap between the classes. And someone has made enough money playing with other people's money they can tear down a 60 million house

I don't have a problem with him doing whatever he wants with his property, but nobody needs a house that big.

I also don't have a problem with how he made his money, as long as he was fair about it. In Wall St. we all know that is a big if, but trust me there are fair people working even there. If he didn't scam anyone, didn't steal from anyone, I'd take what he does over how the Kardashians make their money, any day of the week. Not everyone has to produce something. If you're good at what you do, by all means make as much money as possible off of it.

Also, Bern wouldn't solve the gap issue, but that's for another post.
