So we'd be looking at Ted Cruz instead of Trump if the republicans had super delegates? I don't see how that's any better. At least Trump is the top vote getter and seems to be what the republican voters want, whether good or bad. Hillary is riding high on a bunch of super delegates that probably should've gone to Bernie based on voting results.

Bernie ran an excellent campaign, came from nowhere with no funding, he captured the imagination of millions of young voters and energized them like no one I have seen ever. He excelled at the art of the caucus and had an excellent ground game. Super delegates aside Hillary won N.Y. and cal. Bernie did not win the pledged delegates or the popular vote. If the dems did not have all or nothing states in the primary he might have more delegates, but those are the rules in place. Super delegates did not stop him, voters in my and California did Edited by Rob L

Bernie has won the popular vote in many states yet still came out on the short end with the delegate count thanks to the super delegates. There's no telling how these super delegates could have swayed the people's vote in the later primaries like California. The remaining un-pledged super delegates came out late last week and stated that they will all be voting for Hillary, which in effect gave her the nomination before the primaries on Tuesday even took place, including California. This is not a fair way to elect a nominee. It should be winner take all in every state and not left up to the democratic elite. This is why it is nearly impossible for a popular outsider like Bernie to win.

And the reason he lost in New York?
