Civics Questions with multiple answers

Hello,

My wife is studying for the test and I want to make sure we are doing everything that we should.

Sometimes I will ask for one of multiple answers so that is pretty straightforward. My question is with other questions that have multiple ways of saying the same thing. Does she need to say all three or just one? For example, what did the Declaration of Independence do? And who makes federal laws?

There are other questions with multiple answers that have more than one meaning, for example what is an amendment? What does the Constitution do?

Any guidance is welcomed.

She has to answer it however the question is posed. Some ask for a single answer but many of them are right so she should just memorize however many answers are required for that particular questions. "What does the constitution do?" Choose one answer that she can understand and say. "Name a state that borders Canada" Pick one and stick with it. "What are TWO rights in the Declaration of Independence?" Life & Liberty. Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. Life & the pursuit of happiness. Just read the questions carefully and literally. If it asks to explain something, explain it. If it asks to name one thing then just have her memorize one etc.

There are many apps. I had a great one that would ask the question and you would choose if you knew it or not. Then it showed you the answers. If you were right, you said "got it" if you were wrong, you selected "forgot" and it would keep track.

I had the benefit of speaking English as my first language and knowing more US history than my own country's history. If your wife is from Thailand and English is not her first language then it is probably better for you to be speaking the questions to her rather than reading them because she will be asked by the officer. Hearing and responding is different than reading and choosing!
