Received receipt of received letter from uscis almost 2 weeks ago that they received our i601a application.

We received our appointment for biometrics in about 1 week from now.

Does this mean we are getting closer to a decision? I heard someone say once that once the biometrics are done, they make the decision soon after that.

Our waiver was received March 27 we did the biometrics on April 27. so far its been one month and a half & they say it takes about 3 months or at least thats what they try for. Could be longer could be less

8/2013~~~ Petitoned for I-130

4/2014~~~ Approved

~~Waited to see if Obama would make any changes/DAPA~~

3/2015~ notified NVC to keep i-130 active

3/17/2016~Submitted DS-260

3/30/2016~DS-260 Scan date

3/31/2016~ Submitted I-601A/Notified NVC

4/05/2016~NVC notified me they are reviewing case,but will wait on I-601A to schedule interview

4/27/2016~Biometrics for I-601A

**With in the gap that we waited we made sure to keep in contact with NVC. I-130 dates may be slighly different I don't have the info at the moment.
