Hey everyone, we're a little confused about the police report requirement. It says something about "if you've lived here for 6 months consecutively, or 12 or more months..." We don't understand it. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Also, I followed the directions from this site about what I needed to send her for the interview, the copy of the I-129 and the form that shows financial support. Do any of those documents need to be the originals? Thanks

The 134 form should have an original signature as well as the updated Letter of Intent.

Here' better language:

  • Police certificates from your present country of residence and all countries where you have lived for six months or more since age 16 (Police certificates are also required for accompanying children age 16 or olde

Phil (Lockport, near Chicago) and Alla (Lobnya, near Moscow)

As of Dec 7, 2009, now Zero miles apart (literally)!
