I recently got an update on my case, and I could see that the USCIS sent me a notice in the mail BUT it got returned to them by the USPS... so, I called them yesterday and they seemed like they were trying to rush thru everything. I asked them why the notice could not be delivered and got no explanations. All they did was tell me they are going to mail me a copy of the notice within 15 days, then they gave me a reference number starting with T1F. I'm not really sure what to do with it, but I am calling them back this coming Monday to get a better update and also an estimate of when they will mail me the notice so that I can keep an eye out for the mail guy. I even called the Post Office, too... but they couldn't tell me why my mail couldn't be delivered... they said it usually happens when the sender forgets to add a number or whatever, like apartment number or get the zip code messed up... I don't know.... all I know is I am getting frustrated!... hopefully they won't make me wait that long to mail my notice. I wanted to request a copy on their website but I was not able to since I don't know what notice was. I already have my NOA1 and a pink piece of paper asking me for more evidence. Now they're trying to mail me a notice... I'm praying that it has something to do with my biometrics.

I had the same problem , so check the address you gave them. What happened to me is that, I put our physical address as when filling out the USCIS forms , it says no P.O Box, so I got the same messages as you have and wondered why it happened, then when I went to the post office , they told me that our P.O Box is our mailing address so when the sorter checks the computer, our physical address does not come out in their system so they automatically send it back to the sender. My next step was to change my address in USCIS online and put our physical address together with our P.O Box and now I get my mails. It took me one month to get my USCIS notification by mail ( the copy as like you I called them too ). No point in calling them as they will say the same thing, all you can do is wait. But again please check the address you gave them then revise online . Hope this helps.

First of all I'd like to say thank you for replying... second of all... really?! I don't why they'd mess this up. I have gotten a couple of things from the them with no trouble at all.

They have my physical address and it was working.. until they mailed me something else (a notice) and it got sent back, out of the blue. I called my Post Office and some dude was like "sometimes, if the sender makes one single mistake while they're writing down your address, the piece of mail goes back to them". I was kind of wondering if that's what really happened... I live in a townhome next to 7 others, it's a big complex, maybe they forgot to write down my apartment number...

All I know is, I was reading other people's comments and, this chick was telling everybody how she got denied because she didn't show up for the biometrics BECAUSE she never got the letter... I just don't want this to happen to me so I'm lost... I think I'm going to call the USCIS again on Monday.. either that or I'm simply going to the Post Office and figure this out myself. Over the phone they are NO help, whatsoever.

I'm still wondering what notice it is... they aren't specific when posting up status. I wonder if I should call them and ask about my biometrics...

We got the same mail today ... did you ever find out what it was about ?

Obviously we called and they couldn't give us any info. We can't submit an inquiry because last month we submitted one due to not getting a biometrics appt letter, and they only let you do one once every 30 days :( . We got our NOAs in January so I know they have our correct address ...

Just curious if you have any more information than this...
